Families typically move to a rota model when travel demands, multiple residences, security considerations, or around-the-clock coverage exceed what one caregiver can sustainably provide. Yes. Many of our families staff their households with more than one role — a nanny working alongside a household manager, or a rota team coordinated with surrogacy support. We run these searches together to ensure the team works seamlessly as a unit.

Most long-term placements take four to eight weeks from consultation to start date, depending on role complexity and location. Specialty roles, including multilingual searches, rota teams, and highly confidential placements, may take longer because the candidate pool is more specialized and the matching process is more intentional. While some searches move more quickly, we have found that the most successful placements are rarely the fastest. Long-term success depends on alignment in communication style, parenting philosophy, expectations, lifestyle, and personality. We prioritize lasting fit over speed.
